Alex yeah with that race I wasn’t greatly sure of track limits and was conscious of the clean race. I believe the last turn and the first turn are now designated with the kerbing as the track limits. There was a note I read somewhere explaining exceptions to the white line as the track rule and that was the first and last corner.
Interestingly I did the IMSA Pilot Challenge in the BMW and because it was open setup I had no clue. I used the low downforce IMSA setup and was running mid 1:58s which I believe was almost a second and a half to two seconds slower than I was running in the video I posted. It could have been down to nerves and knowing it was longer and I had to be safer. But I was dead last in the split. Granted it was the second split but the lower split was all touring cars. So yeah dead last in GT4. 🤦🏻♂️I’m hoping it will all come good.
For force feedback I have been using the Fanatec recommended settings. I have been using the black box in car adjustments to auto adjust the FFB which has been working for me. For whatever reason the auto selection in the options when I return to the pits is always grayed out. So BMW is dialled in as is the Hyundai Touring Car so far.
The more I drive iRacing the more I realise my weakness is braking. Whether that is not controlling the brakes, not being consistent enough on them or not trusting the grip of the car, I’ll need to work on it regardless.
Edit - May be rambling. Had a bit to drink today.
