There are a few places. I could swear I had a new enemy drop one last night but I can’t remember where.
There’s a broken statue in amongst a herd of giant trolls in the early area (I’ll look at a map and be more precise later on). It has a glowing crack in it. Can’t miss it if you’ve been in the area. Try and taunt a troll into hitting it. It contains five or six of them.
Also iirc the largish lake/swamp in the middle has a cave hidden in the north west corner. That’s a mine iirc. Look in there, you can pick them out of the walls. Sadly it doesn’t seem like they replenish like other things you pick up.
That should get at least a couple of weapons upgraded. I’ve been finding more dotted around relatively regularly. I wish I could remember the event that dropped one though. Might have been a demihuman. But it was a fair old distance from the start point
Oh also. Don’t neglect the far south of the map. I got across there last night and it was very very worthwhile.
