DrDamn Gordon it’s pretty impressive. Image quality exceeds the PS5 graphics mode (for the most part) and runs at 60fps. This is with the PS5 Pro rendering at a lower internal resolution but PSSR upscaling being impressively good if I understood the article?
Gordon DrDamn Yeah I think so. It’s possible most titles won’t see such an obvious improvement though. Rebirth is really noticeably blurry in performance mode on PS5, it’s kind of a mess.

It goes from 30ish to 50ish FPS in the worst case which is inside the VRR window so should look nice and smooth, and is upscaled to 4K. Hopefully bodes well for Monster Hunter Wilds. I’m in if I can get one. The F1 game looks great, wish I was interested in playing it.

Alex Just doing a bit of maths, I can sell the XSX and PS5 together to CEX for £480. So… we’re talking a £220 upgrade.
Jogort So I have my phone & PC in a queue now, 1 at 10 minutes wait and 1 at 7 minutes, let’s see if I get one. Seeing a few on german Ebay already for stupid money.
Jogort Gordon Yeah got a normal Pro also, was hoping to get a 30th but was little chance with that small volume and fucked if I’m paying 5 grand for 1, all over ebay now.
Jogort I was quite surprised at the 30th ed pro price, thought I’d be more than £959, still a wack of cash but thought it’d be over £1k.
DrDamn Just got a PS5 Pro regular pre-ordered. Were these sold out earlier or was it just the anniversary stuff?
Gordon DrDamn The anniversary stuff went very quick. The regular Pro lasted an hour or two this morning before they were all gone. They’ve been back in stock again a couple of times through the day though, they seem to be deliberately staggering it which maybe helps with scalping? Or maybe the PS store is just on fire. Who knows.
DrDamn Some of the Pro enhanced titles are now tagged as such in the PS Store. It’s not comprehensive yet, as some known titles like Gran Turismo 7 aren’t marked yet but they’ve demoed the update. So maybe it’s an indication that is ready to go.

Gordon I watched this a few days back and didn’t think much of it. Just watched it again on my TV (instead of an iPad), and the difference is really noticeable.
