Yeah the DualSense works perfectly on PC and I believe it is natively supported by Steam now (including haptic features), so does not need any additional utils or anything like in the old days.
I actually bought a current Xbox controller with the USB dongle to use with the PC, as while the DualSense works fine the issue is that almost all PC games only have the Xbox button prompts, so I find it confusing to use.
I guess it depends on what you plan to do with the PC, but I find it useful to keep a controller around.
