I’d go Nvidia for the GPU if you can, for the ray tracing but mainly DLSS upscaling stuff, which is just magic. AMD have equivalents but they are nowhere near as advanced yet. That’s my opinion anyway.

Also the Ryzen 5 5600X is probably a much better balanced CPU than the 5800X that I’ve got. Unless you’re compressing huge video files those extra cores aren’t going to be doing much most of the time.

Brave Hmm. I’ll need to look again because I never got anything out of it. Possibly because I’m on a 1080 60hz monitor supplied by work right enough. 😂 I’ll need to find an idiots guide. Seems to be a trend since I got this PC.

GassyHaggis don’t forget I’ve been in the visual arts for 35 years. It might be that I’m really really sensitive to tiny details.

Yeah it might be less effective at 1080p. At 2K resolution it gives a huge FPS boost while also clearing up the image. In Control the difference was night and day.
