Through the worst of it now. I went for a wee walk about an hour ago and things were blustery but okay. I was assured to see that Bridgeton off-license was still open, which is basically my canary in a coal mine. The day that place is closed is the day I head for an underground vault.
I think there’s some damage to the roof tiles which will need to be looked into (I did hear some worrying rumbles when it was at its strongest) but honestly feel we missed the worst of it.
My mum had a big tree branch fall on her roof but it doesn’t look to have done much damage.
