was 24 hours late (and a few whacks with a hammer)
🤣
MadAndy Holy shit!
If you want to hop (in an atmosphere), try one of these.
the cool stuff starts happening 1:47 in :-)
MadAndy good effort. Seemed to be travelling too quickly when it hit the ground.
Pressure issue in header tanks meant the engine cut out and, as you say, hit the ground too hard. Damn good effort though, and SN9 is almost ready to go….
I think this is the most recent failure.
Was a good one. Engine failed to restart. Sn10 ((already on the wtand) will fire up all three raptors and shut down the one with lowest thrust.
they also finishing stacking sn11.
this is even better live. Shame the didn’t keep the video rolling for an extra 10 minutes at the end ((boom)
next one should go in about 2 weeks 🤩
MadAndy SpaceX: Starship lands safely… then explodes
Gammerz That sounds like a version of the old Murray Walker quote “there’s nothing wrong with that car except that it’s on fire”. 🤣
Alex I think the distinction would be quite important to a potential crew member, as there might be enough time to evacuate.
Crew2 launch today, around midday.
Stick to desert launch sites.
😀🤩
The crazy buggers did it! 😀
ps. Any chance of renaming this topic, say ‘space and stuff’
MadAndy done 🙂
MadAndy I assume it didn’t blow up again this time despite the apparent bbq going on to the right side…
No RUDs. Fire appears to have been ‘surface’ and should be solvable. Wont be a problem on the moon 😀
MadAndy Could be a problem with Titan’s methane atmosphere.💥 Edit: Methane probably needs oxygen to be explosive.
