Ha. Yeah Caelid is truly enormous. I think I left a good chunk of it not properly explored. I managed to cover the map but thereās definitely dragons that I didnāt kill (even though I did kill a rot dragon) and Iām sure I havenāt found NPCs.
Thereās a very handy merchant there that sells Poison arrows , I actually managed to ride torrent all the way to him at level 1, which involved a nasty platform challenge with invisible bastards trying to kill you, just to get a good fist weapon for my second play through.
So, much to my delight, Iāve been able to start my fist build play through without having to resort to other weapons. The starting area was tough as bare fists do very little and I needed 4000 runes to buy the damn things mind.
Iām actually thinking of turning him into more of a Thor based build and use hammers as a second option. Thereās some real potential to mix faith based stuff and lightning with that kind of build which could be masses of fun and still be mostly close combat, which is the opposite of what I played though as first time.
Although finally getting the moonlight Greatsword allowed me to do some good melee damage. Itās just that I was my usual glass cannon build. Which @Fumanstu will tell you, is exasperating to coop with =D
