Alex Wow, this is something properly new, an F1 ghost car comparison. There’s a famous story about the “ghost car” patent and how it stops anyone else from using it. Has that run out or have F1 done a deal?
Alex Slow burn of a race. I think the lower than expected tyre deg and the switch from 2 stops to 1 sort of removed any fun from it. Everyone was just nursing their tyres the whole way through.
Alex RIP Tsunoda’s career tbh. https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/honda-role-red-bull-preparing-to-replace-lawson-tsunoda-f1-seat/
Brave Alex And at no point do they think that maybe Helmut is the issue. 🤷 Edit: and the car obvs. I’m not a huge fan of Lawson but he and every other driver they’ve chewed up deserve better that what they got from Red Bull.
Alex In my experience the management rarely ever decides that the management is the cause of any issues.
Alex Finally decided it was time to attend a race this year and got tickets to Silverstone. Attending Saturday and Sunday. Grandstand at Copse. Looking forward to it. 🏎️ 🏁
MadAndy I haven’t watched a race in the past 3 years, but just reading the stories on the BBC web site are quite ‘distressing’ (🤯). Normally MV attitude to racing leaves/left me feeling a little ‘not quite cricket’. Problem is the extreme view in the FIA are making me think positive things about him. 😂
Brave MadAndy nah. As Alex said, Piastri had the corner. Max did his usual tactic of lifting off the brakes to make it look like he had it but at no point did he attempt to turn. His line was always taking him off track, even well before the apex.
Alex This one was a bit marginal to be fair, but under the rules Oscar was fully alongside and owned the corner.
