            It’s nice to see digital prices lower than physical for once, even if they’ll still end up higher in the end due to discounts etc.

            £75 for MKW physical makes me think GTA6 at £79+ is far more likely now.

              Gordon Yeah I was thinking the same. But also it’s nice to see game share from the DS make a return. Add that to the virtual game card system as well and it seems like it’s actually a reasonable ish deal for digital only gamers.

                Smyths are taking preorders

                The Japanese price for upgrades seems to suggest £10 for straight upgrades and £20 for upgrades with extra stuff.

                I’ve got NSO. That’s the first real perk I’ve been interested in.

                  Brave I signed up again for Wind Waker and F-Zero GX, so this is a nice bonus.

                    Brave this is only for the NSO + Expansion Pack subscribers, which is the higher tier one if that makes a difference.

                    So now we know price, games, features etc. Who is in?

                    I am. Have neglected the Switch for some time but this is the sort of update I’ve been waiting for to jump back in. A little on the gulp side for costs, but somewhat expected.

                        DrDamn I’m in. My kids love Mario Kart and Kirby, and there’ll be enough exclusives over the next however many years to make it worthwhile for me too. I preordered with Smyths last night. They don’t charge until they ship so I can cancel if I change my mind. Amazon are taking orders now too, but only if you ask nicely.

                          DrDamn I think I got the expansion pack for the Mario Kart tracks. So hopefully that counts. Regardless, it’s not the drama queeny price I was seeing people complain about in the comments.

                              Brave yeah there is quite a bit of value in there for me now they are adding N64 and Gamecube titles. Not that I have time for them obviously, but pretend makes you feel better value 😃

                                This looks surprisingly great

                                Some of the high quality captured videos on YouTube show the system can produce some really good quality output, DLSS no doubt putting in some good work. At least with the Nintendo games, the 3rd Party stuff tended to look a little ropier, but those dev won’t have had so much time with the kits and will be downsizing from a more complex starting point rather than building an engine up to the machine’s capabilities.

                                  DrDamn Nobody should be buying a Nintendo machine for third party games anyway.

                                    I got an email saying invitations no longer required to purchase a Switch 2 on Amazon. So they are just going for a mass order? Or does that mean lower interest or more stock?

                                      DrDamn maybe they’re predicting more stock allocation transferring from the states?

                                        Apparently some people got positive emails. I’ll just keep an eye on it. I’m not desperate to have one day one, but I know I’ll be hankering as soon as people start getting them.
