BritishBean I think it’s fair to say he’s had his fair share, but I would say it’s pretty clear that he actually learns a wider lesson every time he messes up. Leclerc is a real talent, but I wasn’t really joking when I said he only learns from his mistakes one corner at a time; back in imola, when he binned it there ( I think it was imola anyway).
Sainz I think, is simply the smarter driver. He can apply his knowledge across a wide gamut of situations, once he’s gained that knowledge. He tends not to make the same mistake again.
Leclerc is a great racer, but I think he needs more than Jock Clear coaching him. He needs a sports psychologist working with him full time.
