Re, UHD stream. I’ve been able to use atm, but can see that stopping if England progress much further. Like the last World Cup, its still on a 30/40 sec delay from the normal broadcast. Anyone watching within ¼ mile with a window open rules it out…lol.

I live in the east end of Glasgow, when Scotland win it’s tricky to filter out the fireworks. And yes they will let them off during the middle of the day too.

Quite “interesting” that following Scottish player Gilmour testing positive two English players may have to self isolate but no plans for any of the Scottish team to isolate…

The Scottish FA (SFA) says PHE deemed that none of the other Scotland players had to self-isolate as there had been no close contact.
But PHE said there had been no detailed discussions with the SFA.

I’m confused as to what PHE have to do with which/whether Scottish players are advised to isolate too. The E part of PHE being the pertinent bit.

DrDamn The Scots training camp is in Durham so comes under PHE.

Apparently the Czechs and Croatia also set up in England with one reason stated was if anyone had tested positive and were based in Scotland the whole team would have been told to isolate.

I’ve heard that Scotland wants to self-isolate from England.

England get another 1-0 win but looked a lot better starting with Grealish and Saka. Steady if unspectacular progress. Will have a much more difficult next round but think they will up their game again and at least be competitive. Not scored many goals but not conceded any yet.

Well that was all quite exciting. Portugal managed to occupy all four positions in their group at some point in the evening. So close for Hungary too.

England have Germany next. Hopefully it’s the wasteful and a but rubbish version that shows up.

Noticed that on majority of centre-kick-offs, all UK teams just boot it up the far end of the pitch and instantly lose possession (except for the last England game, where they actually started passing it and kept possession for a few minutes).
