I’ve been playing a shedload of Bannerlord (https://www.eurogamer.net/mount-blade-2-bannerlord-is-stubborn-and-unruly-unless-you-have-time-to-break-it-in).
On @GassyHaggis ‘ point. The linked article about needing to have the time to break it in is spot on. I tried it on ps5 and loved it but the time constraints are different there and I wasn’t getting nearly enough time to really get in to it.
So, I got it on Deck instead and it’s been a totally different thing. Time is not an issue, and I’ve made so much more progress. It’s just a better experience. Not to mention being able to go hybrid and set the trackpad as mouse so that you get the best of both worlds.
The only issue is small text but I’ve got the magnifier set to a back button so that’s not a big deal. It runs perfectly at 40 too ( I never try anything at 60 anymore as 40 is perfect for me).
A costly mistake getting it on console first, but a lesson learned. If it runs on Deck well enough, unless there’s a compelling reason not to (if Rachel might want to play or for coop reasons) that’s where I’m likely going to get my games.
