So….I’ve had the 911 for almost 3 years and it’s been amazing to own, absolutely loved driving this every time I get in……but I have been having an itch for something a little different. So the Porsche was sold last week and yesterday I flew down to Birmingham and then a train to Redditch to pick up the replacement….

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrofoglio, what an absolute weapon of a 4 door family saloon. It has a 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo putting out 510BHP and is rear wheel drive 🤣🤣
It was a 400+ mile drive home and coming from the Porsche I wasn’t sure what to expect, yes I’d watched all the youtuber car press people absolutely loving the car, talking about it’s perfect weight balance and amazing handling but most of my journey was a motorway cruise with the occasional switch to race mode to hear the exhaust valves open (annoying that they only do it in race mode but I’ve bought a box that gives me a remote switcher😝 ) but race mode also turns off ALL traction control etc so not ideal for some roads up here.
The car is loaded with carbon, side skirts, trim inside, bonnet and roof are all carbon, even the prop shaft is carbon fiber. The lower front splitter is also carbon and has actuators that lower it to increase downforce on the car 🤣
The rear has a diffuser and there are channels along the underside of the car for directing air also, crazy.
Anyway, love it is an understatement, here’s a couple more pics
