BritishBean MadAndy any spare to also stun those morally vacant crunts filling up their car and 5 jerry cans at petrol stations?
Gammerz BritishBean Thought they were already stunned. Been sniffing too much CO2. Boris is spreading fake news, that the fuel crisis is starting to ease, in the hope that it’ll all calm down.
Jonbwfc What. The… https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2021/09/28/woman-accused-starting-fawn-fire-boiling-bear-urine-to-drink/
DrDamn So the big Facebook/WhatsApp/Instagram outage yesterday, found this explanation of what actually went wrong and why it took so long to fix and it’s hilarious 😆
Jonbwfc BritishBean unlikely to be easy to change in anything like a reasonable timescale, given the size of the operation. Even with their finances, because there just aren’t that many people around who really understand stuff like BGP.
Alex They say all software comes to represent the organisation that created it. So I guess the Facebook org is a big tangled mess ready to collapse at any second. 🤣
MadAndy Gammerz Thing that blows my mind here is the reaction of the police. I fully concede there is nothing they can do on the day itself - it appears the purchaser has fully acted in good faith and with no negative actions on their part. But to say this is not a fraud?, WTF
Jonbwfc Yeah, which part of “I did not sell my house and make myself intentionally homeless” did they not get?
Gammerz DrDamn But the house hasn’t actually been taken (moved).., only broken into (compare with breaking into a car vs stealing a car). If the police cannot investigate the loss of your most expensive possession, why even bother with less expensive items?
DrDamn Gammerz they changed the ownership on the land registry, so it was “stolen”. My post was more a flippant remark related to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Property_is_theft! though.
Alex The last week has been pretty weird as a Glaswegian. I mean, I literally used to live on the next street along from there. 😂
