I’ve spent the past day researching my options, and it turns out that the top-of-the-line Thrustmaster wheels (the TS- range) are equivalent to the CSL Elite in terms of performance. Reportedly much more durable and reliable than the mid-range to beginner Thrustmaster wheels too.
So I’ve gone for a TS-XW bundle.

Proper Sparco wheel, with a base that’s PC and Xbox compatible, and can be used on PS with a Drivehub, which I already have. Although PS5 currently requires a workaround according to various forums. Also comes with T3PA pedals, so I’ll either be passing on those or my pro pair to someone else. Probably the bundled pedals tbh.
In stock in their own online shop in the UK, and currently on sale for a substantial chunk of change less than RRP. So that’s my last cave.
For now.
I’m not going to start racing again until I’ve got it set up because I don’t want to get used to the G29 again, and then have to re-adjust. Better to start fresh with the new rig IMO.
