I had to do crits regularly during my short stint at art school. Hated it every single time.

The haptic feedback seems like such a key part of the controls for Returnal, not sure how that will translate over to PC. Still, always good to have it on more platforms.

Alex There are some games on steam that take advantage of DualSense haptics, so hopefully Sony will actually incorporate it themselves, though right now they wouldn’t surprise me by leaving it out.

Returnal would be the first PS5 game to be ported to PC though, wouldn’t it? That might be why there are no Sony haptic games on there yet.

Alex that’s technically true, but they have dropped cross gen director’s cuts (Death Stranding I think was one?) which were also dropped on PC at the same time?

I’ve heard some reports that the game is a lot easier with a mouse, people are seemingly able to get past some of the biomes without too much trouble, which is a bit sad if true. 🙁

Annoyingly, there’s no new game option. If you want to start from scratch you have to delete your save.

I did that last night. So if they introduce that in the patch I’ll be a bit miffed.
