Brave Selene also discovers her own scout corpses across Atropos. These corpses can feature projections of other players’ deaths (via our online systems), or Scout Audio Logs that are left behind by other versions of Selene, that she cannot remember recording. The projections show other players deaths in Returnal, at the conclusion of which you can decide to scavenge the remains for items or revenge their death, triggering events that are best discovered when you play. Story content from audio logs is handcrafted storytelling, whereas the projections are all created via other players’ deaths and found across all of the environments in Returnal. I’m all over that.
Brave It’s looks so good. I’ll be in a media blackout until launch I think. It looks as though there are going to be a lot of surprises.

Jonbwfc Gordon I fully expect it to kick me round the room given my lack of reactions or tactical thinking but the story is what’s really pulling me in. They’ve done quite well in keeping that under wraps. Given I’ve paid for it now though there’s nothing to gain from any more info at this point I suppose.
Gordon Previews are up this morning. I skimmed over some of them and they’re universally very positive. Some comparisons to Hades and lots of praise for the DualSense and 3D audio support.
Brave Yeah. I was weak and watched the SkillUp video. Really really excited for it now. Love the look of it all but the online corpse loot/revenge mechanic is especially appealing.
