Currently on holiday for a few days so I just binged this this morning and had one of the best, most epic and unscripted adventures I’ve ever had in a game. I wasn’t on a quest, just exploring but I found dungeons and mines, fought off a griffin, saved an oxcart from ambush, climbed a mountain (where I discovered why you shouldn’t unleash ballistas on dragons even when they seem very far away); then I found ancient ruins which housed haunted underground chambers, which in turn opened up into more ancient grounds which had golems in them, which caused me to run to the very top of the mountain where I found a new mythical creature which guarded lots of loot and dungeons. And that’s not even all of it. By the time I got there I had 78000 quid and every single one of my pawns was close to over encumbered.
Had to ferrystone my way back to the city to unload, level up and get ready for an actual planned trip back there with a teleport point in my back pack. Took me four hours all told and I didn’t do a single quest.
