I saw that mentioned in passing as a reason (possibly) for Reggie resigning. It's interesting, and a little nuts. But this is Nintendo , and I get the feeling that Furukawa is less interested them in being a platform than he perhaps should be. Bowser, who I believe was instrumental in the launch of EA access on Xbox, becoming Pres of NoA makes lots of sense in that context.
It could be bullshit just as easily tho.
