Whoo! š
After much faffing and delay my pedals finally arrivied!

Getting the pedals on the base is a big faff, you have to hold a allen key in one hand and a spanner in the other. Finally managed to do it by gripping the base between my thighs š.
The pedals were an immediate issue in another sense. The base is very small, itās definitely designed to be fitted inside something, not just flung on a carpet. It moves around a lot, and not just across the floor, it lifts up when you press it. In the end I used the legs of an old table to weight it down while I figure out something permanent. It kinda underlines the fact that this is not really supposed to just be clamped to a desk, but fuck it. š¤£
Once setup I was immediately impressed. The FFB is much improved over the G29, you can feel much more whatās going on between the tyre and the track, little slides and changes in grip that werenāt noticeable before now are. Itās not a massive night and day thing, but definitely very nice. And thatās out the box, I havenāt tried to adjust it yet. The wheel itself is very stable, very planted, you feel much more in control of the car. High speed turns are now much more in control than before.
The throttle pedal is nice, has nice travel to it. Not too much to say here. The brake pedal is much better than the G29, as to be expected. I misspoke before as donāt have the load cell brake (but I have my eye on the kit). Despite that I was able to jump into the Formula Renault 2.0 and braking felt so much better. I was able to push really hard from the get go, and the improvements to the wheel compliment this nicely.
So overall a good first session!
