Deleted File Recovery

Accidentally deleted files from USB stick in Win 10 but not found in recycle bin. Managed to recover a good proportion of files using this free Wise Data Recovery tool.

Has anyone else had any success with free file recovery tools?

Couldn’t download the official MS one from the store. Reviews say it’s useless anyway.

Getdataback is one I’ve used with a lot of success on failing harddrives. Can’t say I’ve tried it for deleted stuff though.

I’ve used it on Windows 10 for my kids usb HDD so maybe it wasn’t that 1, I’ll check on my laptop later.

Windows 10 comes with a file recovery tool. Never tried it but worth a go.
