DrDamn This is pretty much the same way I’m leaning. I know I’m getting a PS5 and I’ve got GamePass paid up until 2022. New console + new PC makes more sense than two new consoles.
I’ve actually ordered a new PC and then cancelled it twice in the last week - first time because I changed my mind about the spec, and second time because the day after I ordered, the new GPUs were announced. I think I’ll wait a few more weeks and see what happens to the prices of the last-gen GPUs once the new nVidia cards arrive. They do look fantastic but £470 for even the “low end” 3070 is a bit too much for me 🙁
I’m not sure that really counts as “talking you out of it”.
