DrDamn Alex can you get full fibre still? I got a pretty decent deal with BT about a year ago after they updated the connections in our street and I could get shot of VM. Depends on what’s available where you live though.
Alex DrDamn No sadly. We’re still very behind on proper fibre in Glasgow. I’m not too bothered about the speeds, I’m fine with 60mbps. Actually more sad about losing the F1 channels, going back to paying more for a lower quality service. It is what it is though.
Brave Alex I think Sky has a better service now that I’m thinking it going with. Sky plus or some other boring corporate marketing title. I looked at it a couple of months ago and it looked better and kind of the same price as Now TV

Brave Alex it’s actually Sky Stream. You get a little box to plug in and then go for the usual packages. Looking at it just now, yours around the same price as Now but you get the proper red button coverage. Pay a bit extra for hi def and pay a bit more to skip ads… on sky. Sky let you skip ads now? The world is upside down.

Gammerz I’ve got Talk Talk fibre to cabinet - they are cheap and provide a variety of speeds (mine is fibre 35 Mbs but 65 is same price now). I wfh and find Teams calls ok. IPlayer streaming ok too. TalkTalk fibre
Alex Brave sounds similar to the setup I have with Virgin. I’ve gone for Sky broadband, getting installed next week. I think there is some fibre here as I was able to get 150mbps down for £28 ppm, which is more than enough for me. I’ll sort out the TV later.

Jogort Alex Do it, I’ve done the Formula Ford a couple of times at Knockhill years ago, they were xr2 engines in these lightweight single seater flying machines. Think they’re Renaults now, absolutely great fun although it’s all over far too quickly.

Brave Honestly I want a boring twat in power for the next twenty years at least. Fuck anyone with an iota of personality getting into power in my lifetime. All I can say is I’m glad I didn’t play the same drink-when-major-Tory-loses drinking game I played in 97. I would be dead right now. In 97 all I had was vague memories of carrying someone’s mattress up a hill to my house. Portillo was a triple if I remember right.
