We’ve been lucky and managed to avoid either me, my wife or my kids getting infected up until now - or at least, I think we have, it’s possible we’ve had asymptomatic infections I suppose. It’s getting really hard to stay optimistic at the moment though. My younger daughters nursery class had 3 infections last week alone. She hasn’t been in this week and I’m going to keep her home for the rest of the week at least, but I can’t keep her at home forever. My wife has volunteered to do some shifts on a ward because they’ve got so many staff off sick at the moment. In the last month, 6 of my extended family members (including my sister who has basically no immune system) have tested positive, despite taking all the proper precautions. I almost want to go to the nearest supermarket, find someone who’s coughing and lick them to just get it over with.
