Huge amount of buzz around the latest update for this. Seems to be some very sizeable improvements to AI and physics of all cars plus tyre physics and a bunch of other things.
General consensus seems to be that it’s following the (IMO excellent) trend of being less “snappy” and therefore allowing you to lean on the tyres in a more progressive and predictable way.
Logically, all the sims, if they’re to really get more and more realistic, will head down this path and that seems to be what’s happening to ACC, RF2 and now this.
AI seems to be very impressive now as well, fair but “fighty” 😉
I’ve got my rig almost as I want it now. I just have to get my handbrake for rallying attached, and then VR set up with the quest 3. I think this will be my first VR test as it’s always done very well for me in that regard.
It’s on sale now along with all DLC from 2020-22 so worth digging out if you’ve had it on the back burner I think.
