In an act of blind optimism, I have been doing my normal preparations for a summer out camping and taking photos (landscapes, mainly, and nothing I would claim worthy of public consumption 😃). So I’ve had my tent and sleeping bag out of storage and given them an air on the washing line, checked my camping stove etc.
And I noticed my DSLR battery charger has gone walkabout. Searched for it for ages, couldn’t find it. It’s probably in a box in the attic somewhere - didn’t do much in the way of hiking last year, what with chemo & all - but god knows. Given the cost, it was less time and effort to order a replacement. I spotted this on Amazon…
RAVPower Camera Battery Charger
which seemed cheap and was a decent enough brand. It also has two charging slots and I have one battery, so I ordered another battery as well. The battery hasn’t turned up yet, but the charger has.
The charger turned up, with two batteries included.
So I now have four batteries, which on average would last me like a whole week of shooting without a recharge.
