Right. Now that the summer warmth is starting to dissipate I’m getting my sim rig up and running for winter.
I start the next module of my MA next week (the gap between this module and the last one has been way too long imo) so it’s not going to be near as full on as my racing habit used to be; but at the very least I’m going to dabble regularly in the recent LeMans game in early access. It seems to be genuinely a step up from rfactor 2 whilst maintaining some of the handling feel which I always enjoyed. Plus I’ve been enjoying following WEC this year.
Anyway. I’ve just ordered the psvr2 adapter and a Bluetooth dongle. That way I can actually get use out of the Sony headset and have it permanently installed. My theory is that most of my issues with it will disappear if I’m just seated in the sim rig as I can maintain the sweet spot a bit better. I’ll probably need to hack it a little bit to get it to stay in the same spot though.
Going to spend the day getting up and running and the next few months hinting that a Thrustmaster direct drive wheel might be a nice Xmas present. 😉
