Jogort I had loads of stuff like that. Having worked for Game for over sixteen years there was a ridiculous amount of collectible stuff kicking around the house before we moved to our new place. Took that as an opportunity to decide what was must keep and what could be redistributed. Hah. Since leaving Game, I have not bought a single collectors edition. 😂 Loving the console collection BTW. Looking great.

GassyHaggis cheers Gassy, yeah I’m pretty sure all these were Game limited edition packs from when I lived in Spain. Is you went to preorder anything they always put you down for a limited edition.
Yeah love the console collection too, I need to add an original PS1 not that silly little remake and a PS2, I was broke in those days and always had to trade up to the next one.

I always had to trade in when the new consoles came out, decided to get the full set again, first step done. Comes with a wallet with a heap of games also

DrDamn Hahaha I remember having to do that, will give it a try soon, see if my TV actually likes it.
Just need a PS2 original now, then I’m looking at an Amiga CD32, that was my first ever console coming from an Amiga 500 and I bloody loved it. They’re running PS5 prices on ebay at the moment though 😱😭

Yeah, that can be a problem with old tech: e.g. interfaces… and “tuning in” the tv to the console’s channel or using a “scart” connection - operations modern equipment cannot perform.

Yeah I used to love those games back in the day. TOCA 2 was indeed the shit. Colin McRae Rally as well was brilliant. The Psygnosis F1 games were terrific too, I recall that F1 ’97 was particularly good.

With the touring car stuff added to iRacing you can actually do a pretty good modern day version of TOCA. Brands Hatch, Donington, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Knockhill… the only tracks I think that are missing are Thruxton and Croft. If only they would add some old school BTCC cars it would be the icing on the cake.

Old school BTCC in iRacing would be immense.

Still got my US SNES (the purple breeze block) in a box somewhere. First console I bought myself with wages. First thing I did when getting it out of the box was attack it with a chisel. There was a couple of plastic tabs you had to get rid of to take Jap carts. Girlfriend I had at the time was looking on in horror….Lol.
