Getting there. I managed a couple of hours tonight. Down in the 1:45s now and definitely feel like I have the rhythm down, it’s just about optimising each corner now.
I think I prefer the Aston. I’m super confident in it, and super consistent. I can still get the back end out with the aggressive setup though. Which I discovered in an AI race on the last lap when I booted it out of the hairpin at the back of the track.
I used the opportunity to learn how to limp a car home. Not that I’m guessing that I’ll need that knowledge…
😅
I’m struggling to get satisfactory performance in VR. I much prefer it from an awareness POV, but I don’t want it tanking on me mid-race. I’m using a program called Oculus tray tool to get the quest 2 to behave, but I think I need to tweak a lot of ACC’s in game settings too. It really is a hog compared to iRacing.
Edit: although battery life is great now, with that cable. Thanks @Alex
