So the previous Orion nebula shot was a 120sec exposure @iso1600 with the camera lens. Managed to get a little play with the scope tonight and here’s a 30sec shot @iso1600, don’t have my EQ tracker setup for the scope yet as that needs a little fiddling and that has a built in intervalometer so could only do the camera max of 30 seconds. Just shows you though how much more light it gathers with the scope than the camera lens.
The blue halo’s are an issue with doublet scopes but I’ve seen a couple of ways of editing it to look better, will do that once I’ve played/practiced more with just getting the shots.
Here’s the Rosette nebula, again only a 30sec exposure and it’s a bit dimmer than Orion so just starting to see it come through.
And a couple of Sirius & Mars through some branches, they were starting to get a little low in the sky.
