BritishBean yeah I think the issue is that doing it that way would give you high quality, high bandwidth audio on the Xbox (which I may not get for another year) but Bluetooth audio on the ps5. That’s more a big deal than it might sound, especially in regards to surround sound.
So I’d rather get something that is top notch for both. I really really like the look of the 700s but I can’t justify potentially needing two pairs if I do get an Xbox.
Not to mention the virtuoso cans have usb and 3.5mm connections as well as high bandwidth via a dongle. The mic is a huge deal for me too, which was one of the reasons I was looking at the 700s. A great mic that also rejects background noise well is hard to come by. The 600 has a good mic but apparently picks up everything in the background so that was a no go.
Kinda left the Virtuoso as my best choice unfortunately. I say unfortunately, I’m ridiculously excited about them. They’re regarded as one of the best sets on the market with a caveat that long term comfort isn’t as good as the 700s.
