I don’t get this whole “pay the highest tier possible to play ancient and already owned games that hurt your eyes now” thing.
I’ve never not been slightly disappointed when I go back to the old classics. We’ve come a long way since then imo. Even ICO, which I regarded as one of the greatest games ever made, vaguely disappointed me when I played it again because the controls were hellish.
It was a mystery to me why it was such a big deal with Nintendo’s offering and if it’s top tier with Sony as well I will be like Father Dougal having small and far away explained to him.
I understand wanting to have a quick play. But paying the top tier? THAT bewilders me. It should be a basic benefit. I honestly think it’s just a few steps down from exploiting whales in free to play games.
