Jogort I read a similar article about reduction in production but that it was also still way higher than they initially forecast. Price seems about right, couldnāt see it being Ā£100 difference between the 2 just because it doesnāt have a bluray drive.

Alex Pricing the diskless version must be a bit of a headache for them, as removing the drive doesnāt actually save you much manufacturing costs at that scale. At the same time they want to funnel people into the diskless version because the digital marketplace is better for them. Therefore thereās a question of how much are they willing to lose on this machine vs how much theyāll make back from the digital sales. Thereās definitely a sweet spot they will be trying to find. At least the diskless version of the PS5 looks better.
DrDamn Yeah, Iām hoping it equals a good $100/Ā£75 saving on the disc version. $499/$399 = Ā£450 / Ā£375. That puts it close enough to the XSS to really cause some damage.
