I think it’s likely Albon with Gasly at Alphatauri. He needs more time in less limelight imo
I get the sense that RBR will keep Albon. They really want him to work out. Also Joe Saward made a good point on Missed Apex last night, Red Bull is partly owned by a group of Thai people, so there might be an extra incentive to keep him. Albon is clearly good he just needs to start hooking things up better on Saturday afternoon. I reckon the Alpha seat will go to Tsunoda.
No doubt he definitely deserves a chance again. It’s a hell of a fucked up year to damn him for middling performance. Especially when it’s becoming apparent his team mate is some kind of enfant terrible dickhead.
So I hope so. I mainly hope he stays in F1 because he’s an actual racer.
Agreed though Albon has been making it really difficult for Red Bull to back him. I think they’ve realised they have a capable prospective World Champion in Max, so they just need someone who can do a Bottas role. A HAM/ROS setup whilst good for TV isn’t what they need. If Albon can keep himself out of trouble for the last 3 races (tick so far) and earn a good haul of points, I think he’ll get the nod. Which is a shame for Perez after another great drive and deserved podium even if it wasn’t realised.

Alex hehe yes easy to get carried away. He’s certainly kept his composure though and out performed Bottas in both sessions which IS something. Let’s wait for Quali and Race though.

GR did a solid job in a car too small for him with little preparation and not being used to the car. Interested to see how the race pans out. I wonder how LH would have performed if he were not diseased…
A shame but honestly I think he’s tempted fate to it’s limit already. IMO it’s wise to back away.
