So apparently Virgin Money blocked the payment and won’t unblock it. They say Amazon need to update their payment system to the latest version and until then any payment over a couple of hundred quid will fail.
Not very happy to be honest. Might have to find a new bank in the new year. I never signed up with Virgin, I was with Clydesdale until they recently merged with Virgin. I’ve been fairly happy up until now but got quite annoyed with the man on the phone there. I mean not being able to buy expensive shit from Amazon is a deal breaker.
Managed to complete the payment with my Monzo card. Hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow!
