Been having a little trouble with the Y button on my new controller. It’s not always registering my input.
Contacted MS and they wanted me to post the controller to them and await their service team checking it and once confirmed then send a replacement. Now I do have a spare controller (they don’t know that) but if I didn’t, quite frankly when I’ve spent £450 on some new kit I’d expect it to work, and if it doesn’t I don’t expect to not be able to play the kit for 7-14 days. So I pressed a bit and was told to contact the supplier instead to see if they’d do anything.
So I contacted Argos, it’s taken a few calls and follow ups but today I’ve received a message to advise that they can’t replace the full product because it was bundled with the SX and they’re out of stock. So instead they’re going to send a new standalone controller between 7 and 11pm tonight 🤣 Thought it was funny they were looking into replacing the whole thing. Not a chance after the 1TB of downloads I’ve had to endure!
Fair play to Argos though they’ve had to jump through some process hoops but 7 days later they’ve come up with a solution.
