Been having a little trouble with the Y button on my new controller. Itās not always registering my input.
Contacted MS and they wanted me to post the controller to them and await their service team checking it and once confirmed then send a replacement. Now I do have a spare controller (they donāt know that) but if I didnāt, quite frankly when Iāve spent Ā£450 on some new kit Iād expect it to work, and if it doesnāt I donāt expect to not be able to play the kit for 7-14 days. So I pressed a bit and was told to contact the supplier instead to see if theyād do anything.
So I contacted Argos, itās taken a few calls and follow ups but today Iāve received a message to advise that they canāt replace the full product because it was bundled with the SX and theyāre out of stock. So instead theyāre going to send a new standalone controller between 7 and 11pm tonight 𤣠Thought it was funny they were looking into replacing the whole thing. Not a chance after the 1TB of downloads Iāve had to endure!
Fair play to Argos though theyāve had to jump through some process hoops but 7 days later theyāve come up with a solution.
