So it still has raytracing and 4k upscaling. And honestly, while I really geek out about raytracing, it’s the modern ai based upscaling techniques that I think are the big game changers.
DLSS on Nvidia rtx cards is extremely impressive. Using ai to create very impressive and believably detailed high resolution images from a base resolution that you probably haven’t seen since the 360.
If Microsoft’s solution is similar then the upscaled 4k is going to be ridiculously good. And unless you want an 8k telly (and I can’t really see me ever wanting one) that S, at that price, is looking like very good value.
