Bought this on sale for the deck ages ago. I’ve only just got round to firing it up. Jesus it’s nothing short of miraculous. Rock solid 40 and looks gorgeous.

I like the idea of a traditional Xmas Death Stranding play through. I’m going to start that today. 🙂

Brave I’m not sure I could do a full play through every year. It’d be nice if there was an endless/chill out mode or something. Take out all the BTs and other stressful bits and just do a series of deliveries. I really enjoy spending time in that world just walking from A to B.

Didn’t see this coming … just coming up on a 5 year anniversary, so an exclusivity expiry, or maybe something else?

One interesting point is the engine used. It used the Decima Engine from Guerrilla Games originally. Has that been ported to XBox? Has the game been ported to a different engine?

Although the music doesn’t seem a patch on Low Roar from the first game.

Brave I’m in. I do hope there’s still plenty of quiet moments and it’s not all mad shit like the trailer. Obviously that’s not something that sells, but the best bits of DS for me were just walking along with nothing much happening, taking in the scenery and enjoying the soundtrack.

Alex I watched a couple of the previews from last week. It looks incredible, not watching any more now.

Yeah. Beware of some of them. They got to play thirty hours so there’s some spoilery stuff out there.

All I need to know is that they all seemed to universally love it, even the ones that weren’t 100% sold on the original.

Surprised it’s so soon actually. I had in my head it was the end of the year.

avoid the EuroGamer review and it’s comments. Looks like the arseholes have spoiled the opening few hours. And the comments are as bad. I think I’ve had one major thing spoiled which I’m really bloody pissed off about.

It seems to be reviewing well though.

I’ve only been able to play the first hour or so and won’t get a chance to play more until the end of next week, but it certainly seems to be more Death Stranding and I couldn’t be happier 🙂
