Yeah, they’ve not really said anything about the Xbox version. The PC version is incredibly power hungry, even a fairly beefy PC can struggling to run it, so I think the base Xbox version will need to be stripped back a lot. That said it still feels fairly good at low framerates, because the frame pacing is very consistent.
My concern with the Xbox version is the controls. The basic flight controls work totally fine on a gamepad, but anything more advanced requires the use of the mouse. Even things like turning on the lights on the instrument panel or adjusting settings on the flight computer requires the use the mouse (or keyboard shortcuts).
They may well be working on a solution to this, but right now with only a gamepad you’re limited to just takeoff, landing, fly about. That might be enough for a lot of people but for me learning all the controls and buttons has been a really big part of the experience.
