You do have to wonder about the decision making going on - especially given they had a dedicated next gen version in development, it must have been obvious for months and months that the PS4 and Xbox One version wasn’t going to cut it, so they knew it was in a bad way, knew it needed more time in the oven but decided that it had to go (presumably so that it launched at Christmas hand in hand with the new console launches) and deal with the backlash later. It really has totally blown up in their face though, even more than they would have estimated, more than I’ve ever seen before with a single player game. It’s a shame as it’s burying what appears to be a pretty damn good game. Hopefully they can rescue the situation and in a year or two we have a spanky next gen Cyberpunk and never speak of the last gen version again. 😃
