Reviewing around 7/10, most praising the combat but game continues the trend of reviewers having gone off open worlds. Good not stellar but if you liked the combat in Doom 2016 you’ll like this seems to be the consensus.

Well. I do really like it. It feels like Doom X Mad Max but madder. Really good fun so far.

Brave Just found out the Ozzy Man Review guy is a voiceover as well. Shame I already caned that game to death.

It is indeed a very bare bones, mediocre gameplay loop unfortunately. But, gunplay is great fun for a short rental. Would recommend Mad Max still over this if you’re looking for an apocalypse…Mad Max-esque game.

I watched some of the Eurogamer live stream earlier, and honestly I thought it looked a bit boring. It didn’t help that the world, characters, and story seem quite derivative of a lot of other games. I reckon if I was going to buy a middling derivative open-world game I’d go for Days Gone.

JayFantana Mad max was surprisingly good. Arguably the best thing they’ve done since JC2.
