I had a quick look round on the day day the patch came out. It’s quite fun. I’d describe the derelicts as ‘eerie’ rather than full of Alien Isolation style jump scares - there are aliens, and they will do you a mischief, but they’re basically space slugs so the sheer terror just isn’t there. It’s good fun dodging the security drones and what have you though.
I was very excited to learn you could build teleports on your freighter now, but it turns out their - currently at least - one way, you can get from your freighter to your base or a space station, but that’s all. Bah.
But you know, more free stuff. All good.
