DrDamn I should be around at some point this evening. I’m level 12 now, I’m totally in love with it.
I killed another raider for the first time earlier. Didn’t really mean to. Was running down a ramp into a tunnel with a hornet one shot away from killing me. There was someone else down there also hiding from it but it was dark and I got a bit twitchy and accidentally chased him around the dark shooting until he dropped. Just before he died I heard him say “What did you do that for?” and he sounded really sad but I was able to upgrade one of my work benches with the stuff I looted from him, so I hope that provided him some consolation.
Over the weekend I ran into someone out in the open. Did the “don’t shoot!” emote and he immediately murdered me. Then he walked over and said “Sorry but I’ve got a daily to loot raiders, nothing personal.” I’ve had a handful of other less friendly encounters but the majority are still peaceful if a little tense.
