Played some more last night and started ticking off a few more of the challenges. These get you little cosmetics for the most part, but there are some nicer ones of these. Specifically a couple of gun builds, which look like a skin and pre-configured attachment set-up for an existing gun.
Rush has been added, which is like a more compact version of Breakthrough. Attackers and defenders, attackers with limited spawns need to plant bombs on A & B targets to advance to the next set. Significantly closer combat and tended to be better balanced than the larger scale Breakthrough because the city streets and buildings offered more cover. One gripe. They put one of the challenges on capturing / advancing sectors in Rush and Breakthrough and so that only works if you are an attacker. So overwhelming majority of games I played were as a defender as I guess people were quitting out if they got put on defence.
DF have a video on Beta performance and it’s all very good. Balanced is essentially a locked 60fps, Performance is recommended only if you have VRR TV as it goes above 60fps and will tear if you don’t have it. PS5 Pro has a bump in detail, and looks to use PSSR which provides better in motion details compared to standard upscaling on PS5. XSX is comparable to PS5, XSS is alright.
Of note in the video is how much additional detail there is in BF6 compared to previous versions.
