Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster?

Loved FFT on PSOne. Had a dodgy import copy on a chipped PSOne as they didn’t release it here. Eventually bought it and a US PSOne when I was out there with work.

One of the best FF games with a fantastic story and brilliant SRPG gameplay. I will always have a place in my top 3 games of all time.

DrDamn Mine too. It’s untouchable. I’d love even a fairly straightforward remaster like they did with Tactics Ogre recently. Would be a perfect Portal game too.

I played the remaster for an hour or so last night when it unlocked, and it’s great. I really like the new character art now I’ve seen it up close, I don’t think it’s just a simple upscaling filter like it first appeared. It’s got a sort of papery texture and the characters sit really well in the scene along with the background art. All the new stuff is great - UI, voice acting, reworked menus etc. It’s still just the best game ever, I can’t believe we finally got the remake after years of rumours 🎉

Concur with @Gordon. It’s really nicely done. Not messed with too much graphically. The presentation, voice work, QoL improvements, all excellent.

DrDamn I used my portal the other night playing Hell is us, works brilliantly, I was very surprised. You should certainly get one.

@DrDamn Given how prices have been going recently, there’s a good chance the Portal will go up in price. You’re actually saving money if you buy one right now.
