Just watching the rerun as if live. Near the end at the moment.
Magnussen’s tyre was very very concerning. There should have been a leash keeping that thing attached. The height it went it could easily have been in the crowd.
Bloody good watch apart from that
Well that was all kinds of stupid
The tyre carcass had come off the car but the wheel hub was still attached.
That was a clusterfuck.
Alex such a shame because it’s been great racing ignoring max out front on his own
But this is just the most ridiculous outcome for all that effort. I think this will go to external review post race.
Should be good to see 3 world champs on the podium though 😊
Worst stewarding since Abu Dabhi imo
This is incredibly wholesome.
All seems a bit complicated to me, there are two races and two qualifyings now?

This is Stephano messing with practice sessions as he hinted at. Way too complicated.
I’m not super into the idea of qualifying being slap in the middle of a Friday. I think people in the F1 bubble forget that we all have jobs.
Alex he seems fixated with the idea of making Fridays a big deal unfortunately. Next thing you know it’ll be practice Thursdays.
Alex I quite like having something to use as procrastination on a Friday afternoon. But perhaps I should work harder. Pesky school run gets in the way when there’s multiple red flags though. 😂
Tsunoda doing a decent crab impression. 🦀
If you thought you heard Leclerc complain to his team about a “cut” during the sprint it turns out he was actually concerned as there was a cat on the track. 😂
That was horrifying to see, so lucky no one was hurt in pit lane. Just terrible. I’d be arguing for the end of Baku at the end of this.
Shitty comment from Horner there too. Checo got a little lucky my arse.
Yeah, very worrying to see at the end there, basic safety procedures not being followed.
Perez did get lucky with the safety car there though, you’ve got to admit.
Not the most scintillating race.
Ocon POV.
Alex At the start of the footage, there’s a bunch of people milling around what I assume is the start of the pit lane - who are they and why are they there? (Beth insisted that I find out, she’s horrified by the whole thing)
Gordon that’s the contentious part. They were F1 officials who had moved onto the pitlane expecting the cars to be finishing the race and coming into parc ferme, but the race was still on and the pitlane was open. Ocon came in to take his mandatory pitstop only to find a bunch of people standing on the track.
