I’ll probably go tentatively mid-tier, and based on gt7 and their new approach, I’ll probably rarely buy a Sony game on launch now. If their plan is to put games on there that we’ve already paid through the nose for, then I’m not going to pay through the nose. I’m actually mildly pissed off at the list they have there, given the several hundred quid I’ve spent on buying those games over the last however long since launch.
They’ve been, unsurprisingly, vague about some important details, such as are we getting their new games in the service at launch or not? Edit: that info might mollify me somewhat. The term “blockbuster hits’ implies they’ll have been on sale, but I’m getting a little tired of the whole “ahhh, but we didn’t not, not say we’d not do the thing we did say we wouldn’t “ style of “honesty” that Sony are espousing at the moment.
Right from the off as they started marketing this new gen they’ve left most of the hype up to their customer’s assumptions, and it’s a dick move imo.
