DrDamn There is an interesting balance between the helpfulness of knowing what letters are in the word and those which aren’t. Where the latter can sometimes help more than the former.

Deej For some reason I assumed this was a British developer (for no reason!) but he is American so that’s fair enough.
DrDamn Deej he is from Wales but now works in New York. Wordle is run on a UK domain. On the other hand, you can safely guess the words because if they aren’t valid it doesn’t use up guesses.
